Enhanced by a steamed grain aroma, this has well balanced savory flavor and sweetness. Powerful like "Kagoshima," an origin of its material, gentle like "Miyazaki," an origin of the yeast, it has a nature of Kushima, which is locatefd on the border of these two prefectures.
Sweetness and refreshingness are enhanced with cold water or ice, powerful flavor spreads with warm water. The palate is layered with a full sweet flavors like dark molasses, along with a refleshing sweet potato aroma and smell like roast hojicha-tea. Richly sweet, yet smooth and sharp, you will discover a satisfyingly high quality. The flavor gets toasty with warm water, and deep with hints of sweetness and tartness when chilled.

KamefujiMotomi is bottled in a 1.8L-jar of Mino-yaki (Mino ware), a traditional Japanese pottery of Gifu Prefecture. Mino-yaki is characterized by very large soil particles so that air enters and exits over a long period of time, although liquid does not spill. It has long been said that the movement of air causes the shochu to sway and its particles to become rounded, resulting in a pleasant texture.

Shoro No. 104Exhibited at the New Sake Evaluation Committee held by the Kumamoto Regional Taxation Bureau. The sake is aged for more than 3 years without blending, and is split and bottled. The delightful flavor of steamed potatoes and the savory sweetness leave an impact, while the finish is comfortably dry. This should be the best among our products for the good balance of multiple tastes.

Shoro "Colorful"Characteristic flavor, mixed with a flamboyant and fragrant new brew with Tama-akane potatoes of Kagoshima Prefecture (white koji) and a strongly honey-sweet and savory 3-year-stored old brew with Miyazaki-beni potatoes from Miyazaki Prefecture (black koji). The initial taste has a scent of Earl Gray tea, followed by a tropical hint like mango. It is a brand with a perfect balance of viscous sweetness and firm astringency.
Excellent as a cocktail base, it has an umami with hot water and a gorgeousness with sparkling water. The “genshu.” series is launched with 2 missions: To appeal a joy of “your custom drink,” which is actually a basic feature of traditional shochu, and to let customers reaffirm that shochu is representative Japanese spirits.
It is made from black koji and high-quality Kushima-produced Miyazaki-Beni potatoes, and aged for more than 3 years before bottling. It features a rich and honey-like sweetness with a hint of toasty aroma.
